DARDEN HILL AND SAWYER RANCH ROAD ROUNDABOUT
Hays County is constructing a roundabout at the intersection of Sawyer Ranch Road and Darden Hill Road to improve safety and mobility in the area. This roundabout will tie into planned improvements on Darden Hill Road.

CONSTRUCTION AND TIMELINE
Aaron Concrete Contractors, LLC will construct the two lane roundabout project in phases. Construction is expected to begin in summer 2023 and be complete in fall 2023. Two lanes of traffic (one in each direction) will be open throughout construction.

FUNDING
Construction for the roundabout is funded utilizing available funds from the voter-approved 2016 Road Bond – Safety and Mobility Projects. Bonds typically include a list of projects but are not limited to those projects, and the funds can be used for other transportation projects.
